Teaching Questions for Blog
The questions that are asked each week have an impact on how I prepare for next week. We are teaching together! If I didn’t get to your question while teaching, I’ll answer it here. KEEP ASKING!
I pray for Help but how do I ask the Church to help me? I am desperate.
Please call (616) 796-3348 right now. You can also email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Go to the information desk in the lobby on weekends and ask to speak to someone privately. Come and find me after a service. Please let us know how to love you and care for you.
The Church is the active agent of Jesus in the world today. All the Biblical writers, inspired by the Holy Spirit, call the followers of Jesus to love and serve. I know it is hard to “raise our hand” and ask. I know some have asked but have not received. I know when we are in need it feels like we are alone and to ask means feeling like we have failed. Please, reach out and let others receive the blessing of serving you.
Followers of Jesus, is there someone around you that is praying and asking God for help? Are you the answer to the prayer? Every minute of every day we have the opportunity to literally be the one who steps into to the cosmic gap between a person and the activity of the Almighty. Look up. Look into everyone’s eyes. Authentically inquire. You might be the difference in someone’s life between hope and despair today.
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
(Galatians 6:2, NIV)
