Join us each Sunday in May as we explore Mental Health Awareness Month with our sermon series “No Shame On You.” we will spend four weeks looking at the stigmas of mental health and offering resources to those in need.
In honor of Mental Health Month, we are partnering with Be Nice and their STOMP OUT STIGMA walk. The walk is May 18 at 8:00am starting at Grand Valley State University Downtown Grand Rapids. TCM Counseling will be offering two different training sessions this Mental Health Month. The first training session, Important Things to Know about Professional Counseling, will be on May 19 and will be given by Sarah Lewakowski, MA, Limited License Psychologist, Executive Director of TCM Counseling. The second session, Suicide Prevention; QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer), will be on May 26 and given by Jane Anderson, MFS, CFLE, Director of Human Services for TCM Counseling. Both trainings will be held in THE CHAPEL FROM 10:30-11:30AM.
A variety of local services as well as CMC ministries will be on site each week to offer information and support to anyone on need and their families.
